"This was one of the best vacations our family had. We absolutely loved the house and the location. We have two young kids so being right across from the pool was a godsend. The kids loved it, it was never too crowded and there was shade if we needed it. It was also nice to be able to easily walk to other locations in the resort. The restaurant was a little bit of a hike, but nice on a pleasant evening. The house was perfect for us. We let my in-laws have the master suite and we took the other bedroom with the king size bed next to the room with the bunk beds where our kids slept. The kitchen was well appointed, there was plenty of spices and condiments and it was very clean, which was nice. The main room has a wall of windows that looks out onto the lake, really nice view when you’re inside. Of course the view is best taken when you’re outside on the gorgeous deck. The wonderful thing about the deck is that it’s shaded in the afternoon and evening, so dinners outside are pleasant. The grass was also nice and soft, so our kids loved running around on it. We really didn't see the neighbors and couldn’t hear them either. There is a walkway right down the hill from the backyard, but you can’t see folks walking on it. Some other things I loved: · The owner/previous guests have left a few books out if you’re interested, including children’s books · There are some good games as well as a puzzle which I did with my mother in law that week! (I can’t remember the last time I did a jigsaw puzzle.) · The washer and dryer were very convenient · There’s room to put a car in the garage, with a garage door opener you can take with you · We grilled out most nights except when we felt compelled to check out the local area I cannot wait to come back to this house.
