![]() "Aloha, Chuck……don’t even know where to start about our visit to your condo and Kauai…..the most wonderful place on this earth. I’m guessing it must be right before you enter Heaven because Heaven is the ultimate and this beautiful island was absolutely gorgeous. We followed many of your suggestions and I had the Ultimate Guide to Kauai that I spent many months planning from. The condo was excellent and we enjoyed having so much room. The view was excellent and nothing really bothered us including the roosters. In fact, we only heard them occasionally. The beach below had many locals but they weren’t loud and we enjoyed watching them. We enjoyed our heli ride through Blue Hawaiian and the Smith Luau. We traveled to many of the beaches, Waimea Canyon, etc. Having our GPS was really helpful. We enjoyed visiting with Fred, the condo manager . He was so friendly and out going. We gave him our left over bread, cheese, etc. Having the ice chest and other equipment was great. We did buy another noodle at Walmart and left it on the lanai. Wish we would have stayed longer…..but all good things must come to an end. We ended leaving around 10:30 or 10:45 because of our flight. The housekeeper had called the night before and asked if we would start a load of clothes for her and I told her everything would be washed and it was. We cooked and made sandwiches frequently and just washed and dried as we went so we didn’t even use the dishwasher. A beautiful place and I plan on telling a travel agent that we are friends with about your condo so hopefully you will get some referrals……thanks again so very much……..Jane Someday we hope to return......also, Chuck was wonderful to work with, couldn't have been more pleased " - Jane Koerth, Port Neches, Texas, 06/06/10 (inquire/book) "We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Kauai in #204. The unit has been recently updated and is very nice. The kitchen has granite counters and new appliances. The location makes it easy to go anywhere on the island. The view from the lanai was fantastic. The owner is also great. He sent us all kinds of info on places to see and great places to eat. I plan on staying there next time I visit Kauai." - Anonymous, Valley Center CA, 05/14/10 (inquire/book) "We spent three lovely weeks on Kauai, in unit #204. Chuck sent me a lot of information and photos about the island which was very helpful. The condo was very clean when we arrived and the appliances were all brand new and in great working order. I did wish that we had a large frying pan and cutting boards in the unit. I liked watching and listening to the roosters; I especially liked watching a whole brood of chickens grow up in front of us! The condo is very well situated on the island and I encourage everyone to go one day." - Anonymous, 03/20/10 (inquire/book) "From the beginning, we lovingly referred to Chuck as Aloha Chuck. He lived up to the name, the Aloha Spirit and then some! From my first question to the final booking, Chuck was super friendly, professional and a pleasure (nice and easy) to work with. His condo was clean, the perfect size, with a well equipped kitchen but most importantly, I must mention the view. The breathtaking view that you see in pictures is indeed the view from this very condo. Every morning with the sunrise, and the evening with the stars will be etched in our memories for a very long time. The sound of the ocean crashing on the shore-the palm trees, all of it, totally blissful. Mmmm :) The condo's location was perfect for us! We road tripped the entire time we were there and used Chuck's list of hikes, etc as guidelines. Thank you Chuck. Also, we are strict vegetarians and found it very easy to find good food. Just an FYI: There are lots of roosters so if you're sensitive to the cock-a-doodle dooing, bring ear plugs - we did, and I used them! Upon our return I promptly received my security deposit-I would highly recommend this condo and Kauai! Thank you. " - Dana L, Princeton, NJ, 01/21/10 (inquire/book) "I echo all previous comments; the unit was exceptionally clean upon arrival, and was well-appointed with everything we needed. The only drawback is that this unit's bedroom is close to the road and a 24-hour gas station, which made for some noisy nights." - Amy Peloza, Anchorage, AK, 01/13/10 (inquire/book) ![]() "My fiance and I stayed in Wailua Bay View unit 204 in September/October of 2009 and it was absolutely heavenly. We got married on the island and this was the perfect place for a couple to have as home base. The view from the lanai and the sound of the ocean was so relaxing. We fell in love with it immediately. The unit was very clean and well stocked with necessities, such as an iron and hair dryer. We were glad not to have to pack these items. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and are very plush. The booking process was smooth and the owner of the unit was a pleasure to deal with. Plus, he gave us great tips for enjoying the island. We loved this place and would certainly enjoy staying there again." - Megan, Louisville, KY, 10/20/09 (inquire/book) "My husband and I spent a week at Wailua Bay View #204 in September. All of the website pictures for this condo are accurate. It's a well maintained, clean and comfortable condo. The beautiful kitchen is equipped for just about any type of cooking you might care to do. The furniture is very comfortable. We enjoyed the flat screen tv and used the free internet everyday to stay in touch with our families back home. It was also nice having free local calls to book our excursions. Having a washer & dryer in the unit came in handy. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and watching the surfers. This unit has a great view of the beach. The central location in Kapa'a is perfect for exploring the island. Several very good restaurants are right nearby. And the Safeway grocery store is only a mile or 2 up the road. The complex itself is very well kept and the pool area is clean and inviting. During our stay it was very peacefull and quiet. I'd highly recommend this condo to anyone traveling to Kauai." - Nadine Mixon, Baton Rouge, LA, 10/15/09 (inquire/book) "We stayed at the Wailua Bay View for six weeks. We were amazed by the beautiful view of the ocean and the constant sound of the waves. During the first weeks we always had our meals on the balcony. The kitchen - which has absolutely everything you might need - was just the place to prepare amazing fish dinners or just a couple of sandwiches. The beach supplies (ice chests, beach mats and body boards) were a nice touch and made it easy for us to enjoy the most beautiful beaches all day long. We used the internet quite often to get some work done and everything worked just fine. The condo is very clean, the furniture is comfy and new, it was truely a home awy form home for us. We liked the proximity to our favourite stores (Safeway in Kapaa) and to our favourite restaurants (Brick Oven Pizza, Monicos, Kintaro, Cafe Coco and Tutus Soup Hale are within easy walking distance.) You can walk to the beach directly in front of the house but we preferred to drice to more secluded beaches and explore the island. (Most people do) We highly recommend Wailua Bay view. The complex is well maintained, the manager Fred greted us every morning and kept us up to date about the weather. The pool is also nice for a quick swim. " - Anonymous, Germany, 09/07/09 (inquire/book) "Recently stayed in Wailua Bay Condo #204 (June 20-23). The condo was clean and well furnished. The view of the ocean and beach was great. There were beach accessories for our use...that was nice. Easy drive to both the south and north side of the island and conviently located 10 minutes from the the airport. Direct beach access would be an added plus. Received deposit refund within 2 weeks. We really enjoyed our stay in Kauai. " - Tom & Dana Beier, Flower Mound, TX, 07/05/09 (inquire/book) "Just returned from two weeks in Kauai. Stayed in Unit 204 and it is beautiful. Nicely appointed with many amenities. Water toys, etc. are a nice touch. Very nice central location with easy access to shops, eateries, beach, and hiking trails. Chuck has provided nice links to various trails...but I would recommend hiking sticks and good waterproof boots for all hikes. Red clay soil on Kauai becomes very slippery when wet. Great value, great location!" - Jerry Olafson, Minneapolis, MN, 03/15/09 (inquire/book) ![]() "My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in Wailua Bay View #204 for the first three nights of our stay on Kauai. It is such a beautiful unit in such a beautiful setting. We regret that we did not book it for our entire two weeks on the island. We had family staying in Princeville, paying twice what we were paying and not having nearly the same quality of lodging. We hope to return to Kauai in the future, and will certainly request #204." - Kathy Parmley, Colorado, 03/04/09 (inquire/book) "We spent a month unit 204 Wailua Bay View and are booking to do the same again next year. The unit is newly remodeled and is easy to live in and maintain even for a long visit. The floors in the hall and kitchen are wood and there is tile in the bath. There is always a nice breeze when you want it which keeps the unit fresh. There is a manager on location who is very helpful should you have any problems. The view is wonderful and ever changing with the tides and weather shifts. We got some wonderful pictures. When the bay is calm it is a great place to snorkel and swim with all kinds of fish and even some turtles. We highly recommend it-the owners are great to work with. Aloha" - Jim & Gudrun Fraser, Grand Jct, CO, 02/17/09 (inquire/book) "My wife and stayed at Wailua Bay View #204 for a couple of weeks around Christmas and had an absolutely wonderful time. The view and sound of the ocean are awesome and the location is really convenient. Can get to just about anywhere on the island from Wailua Bay. Chuck was really easy to work with and had a lot of great suggestions for activities and restaurants. Condo was really clean, newly renovated, and the kitchen has just about everything you need. We had such a great time we extended a couple of extra days." - Drew & Carly, 01/26/09 (inquire/book) "My husband and I stayed in #204 at the Wailua Bayview for 5 nights. It has a beautiful view, a lovely new kitchen and is very centrally located to the rest of the island. If there was any drawback it was that it is 'centrally' located and not in the quietest of locations. However we enjoyed wine and fresh fish every night on the lanai and slept like babies with the air conditioning. Chuck, the owner, is very helpful and accomadating. The condo was well worth the price." - sue spies, 09/25/08 (inquire/book) "We spent 10 days in Wailua Bay View # 204. We had an AWESOME visit. The view, beach, central location and accomodations were exactly what we were looking for. Chuck sends a great web link with tips to make the most of your stay in Kauai. We'd definitely stay again." - Lisa Bukeavich, Martin TN, 07/21/08 (inquire/book) ![]() "I was unsure on where to stay and which condo to stay in. After reading a book on Kauai and then reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we couldn't have stayed anywhere better! In fact, we have been to Kauai and the Hawaiian islands over 15 times in the past 20 years and this condo was by far the best experience we have ever had on a budget. I know some would say it's no Grand Hyatt but we didn't pay $500 a night either and had a lot more room. The condo was beautiful and had an amazing view. It had everything and the owner Chuck was very helpful on suggestions even though we thought we had everything figured out. We won't stay anywhere else now. The condo is centrally located and we saved so much time instead of having to commute from Poipu like last time." - Eric, Phoenix AZ, 05/27/08 (inquire/book) "Just got back from our Kauai Trip and it was great. We stayed 6 nights in #204. The unit was clean, nicely remodeled. We loved the A/C in the bedroom. There is plasma TV with DVD player in the living room, which my husband loved. The owner Chuck had a cooler, snorkel fins, lawn chairs, beach mats and etc.,if you need to use during your stay. Awesome view of the ocean and nearby beach. Great central location to view the island. Also plenty of eating and shopping within walking distance from Condo. Stayed on the North Shore for 4 days and was not nearly as pleased. Restraunts weren't as good and much more pricey. I would definetly stay again if visiting Hawaii." - Anonymous, 05/23/08 (inquire/book) "We stayed in unit #204 the first week of April 2008. We had a great time. The unit had been remodeled and had a great view of the beach. Beach access was cumbersome, but we spent most of our time touring the island. This complex has a great central location on the island. The complex was clean and well kept. The exterior of the building was being painted during our visit, but it should be complete by now. We rented directly for the owner. Chuck was very friendly and accommodating. He processed our deposit refund promptly. My wife and I would definitely stay in #204 on our next visit to Kauai." - Ed Hawkins, Garden Grove, Ca, 05/09/08 (inquire/book) "Wailua Bay View #204 was an outstanding unit. The view was great, the room was excellent, and the booking was simple and easy. Will definitely stay there again !!" - Steve Blankenship, 02/21/08 (inquire/book) "This was our second time in Kauai. The condo was great. We really enjoyed the beautiful view. We cannot wait to go back. Thanks for a great time." - Matt & Heidi, 11/18/07 (inquire/book) ![]() "Had a terrific time on Kauai, and the condo is not only well-appointed and attractive, but centrally located on the island. Ocean sounds and view are terrific, and the pool was surprisingly pleasant, for what little time we spent there. I wholeheartedly recommend it!" - DaveBurke, Azusa, CA, 07/04/07 (inquire/book) "We had a fantastic time in Kauai. I can't wait to go back. Wailua Bay View 204 was amazing. It had everything we needed and more. It suited our needs perfectly. We actually got married while we were there, and my hairdresser and wedding coordinator actually came by to drop some things off, and took a look around. They thought the unit was very nice! Thanks for everything. We'll definitely stay at Wailua Bayview 204 the next time we are in Kauai! Kind regards, Nancy " - Nancy I., 06/14/07 (inquire/book) "We recently had a chance to stay at Wailua Bayview #204, and it was great! It had all the amenities of home - in unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, flat screen tv and dvd player. The unit was recently renovated and is very modern and clean. The view was fantastic, and check in and out was a breeze. Chuck (the owner) was very pleasant to work with - we booked the unit through him directly. I would definitely go back and stay in unit #204." - Anonymous, Barrie, Ontario, 05/07/07 (inquire/book) "The condo has been beautifully updated with a new kitchen and bathroom. Everything we needed--cooking utensils, towels, washer/dryer--was available. Would come back again. " - Christine, San Diego, CA, 04/25/07 (inquire/book) "Looking forward to being Happy in Rush Hour! On my way soon! Author / Visionary " - Leanne , Calgary Alberta, 04/14/07 (inquire/book)
