"We loved staying here. Really comfortable house, and a super awesome host. So many stars from the patio! When you live in the city...you just forget how gorgeous the night sky is! The master bed has a view of the lake right from bed! I loved the living room with massive windows looking out at the pines and the lake. Great big table for food or jigsaw puzzles. :--) Wifi was fast (I stayed for a few weeks and worked from 'home'). From the house you can walk the short distance to the lake, or in the reverse direction walk two mins to a really nice trailhead. "The Dollar Hill house in Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe is in a excellent location, close to everything. We had the most relaxing vacation. Our favorite part of the home was the back deck and the view of the lake while we ate dinner or just relaxing with a cup of coffee. Very quiet street and neighborhood. "We stayed at Tahoe Mountain House in August and had a great time. The house has a nice view from the deck, is well equipped and comfortable, with plenty of room. Everything is well-maintained and the whole rental process went smoothly. We especially enjoyed the location. The house is close to town for shopping and dining, and also within minutes of Skylandia Park. The walk to the park is a bit steep, but it is a short drive down to great dog friendly trails and the beach. The weather was warm and the lake is shallow in that location, so it was a great place for swimming and paddle boarding. Thanks to John for a great vacation. "The home fit our needs perfectly for a summer weekend. We spent most of our time outdoors, so did not need many bells-and-whistles, but did appreciate the hot tub for winding down at night. "Our family (4 adults, 1 baby) had a great stay at John's house. The location is perfect - close to everything yet very private on a quiet street. We spent much of our time on the deck and there was barely any street traffic. The hot tub was perfect for evening time. Beds were very comfortable. "We stayed during summer for 4 days, party of 4 adults and 4 kids. The house is equipped with everything we needed, all appliances worked perfectly. Internet and TV were good, we even could watch World Cup games with great quality. The house is very clean, beds are comfortable. It is a nice 15-20 mins walk to the lake, you can see the lake from living room and balcony. Great area, well-maintained house. We will definitely consider this house for our future Tahoe vacations. "We had a great time at the cabin. Very quiet neigborhood, Hot Tub was fantastic and clean. Rooms were great and roomy, kitchen had everything. We had all we needed at the cabin. "Our family had a wonderful stay at the Martin Cabin and would highly recommend it for a family vacation, or weekend getaway. The cabin makes you feel right at home with all its amenities and close proximity to great outdoor activities...we brought our bikes so we enjoyed the trails to & from Tahoe City and riding along the Truckee River. Tahoe Lake is within walking distance and we also took a drive up to Squaw Valley and rode the tram to the top. We ended each night by sitting in the spa with a great view of the lake. The week went by too fast but we felt relaxed when it was time to go. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin in one of the most beautiful spots in California, Lake Tahoe. "We absolutely loved our stay at your beautiful Tahoe City home. Loved the curb appeal, the heavily wooded property, the nice fun sledding hill in the backyard, the high vaulted, exposed beam ceiling, the gas fireplace, the spacious master bedroom suite and the redwood deck w/ relaxing hot tub.
