The Tree House at Wild Oak Farm is an exceptional rustic retreat, centrally located for enjoying Yosemite National Park, the Merced River Canyon, and all the charms of Mariposa and the surrounding forty-niner country.
The Tree House is ideally situated to enjoy all the things Yosemite and its surroundings have to offer, but a lot of our guests never want to leave the property. A hot tub, organic garden with seasonal produce (including asparagus, strawberries, tomatoes, basil and garlic), horsehoe pit, campfire circle, and tree swing satisfy the kid in all. But if you do decide to leave Wild Oak Farm, here are some of the things that will beckon.
OUTSIDE
Of course Yosemite is right at our doorstep; the Tree House is among the closest vacation homes to Yosemite on the Highway 140 corridor. The Merced River is a mere 5 minute drive and offers fantastic river rafting, fishing, and swimming. The Tree House owners have a combined 23 years of experience living and working in Yosemite National Park. We are happy to help you plan your trip to the area.
INSIDE
Looking for more genteel pursuits? Mariposa and its surroundings offers excellent restaurants, museums, shopping and antiquing. Local wineries serve up superb wines and tasting forays.
The rental is complete with all sheets, towels, paper products etc.
Firewood provided.
Well-behaved pets with responsible owners are allowed (limit 2). Pets are not allowed to stay inside the house unattended. There is a shaded dog run available near the house.
