It's pretty much just you and nature up on the hill. It's so quiet and peaceful. Relax on the porch swing and listen to the crickets as you watch the sun disappear into the lake. Occasionally, you'll hear a boat off in the distance...and then a few minutes later, you'll hear the waves gently caressing the shore. Occasionally, you'll see a car cross the Indian Creek Bridge. That's the back way into Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. That's the way to go to avoid all the traffic. It's 20 miles to the heart of Sevierville, 28 miles to Dollywood, and 38 miles to light #3 in Gatlinburg through some of the most beautiful countryside in the nation (kind of like Cades Cove without the traffic)!

"Was this cabin worth an 11 hour drive from the Twin Cities...yes,yes,yes!We were blessed to stay eight nights at Serenity Hill Cabin the first week of October and we keep remarking that it was one of our most wonderful vacations. Words almost fail as to how lovely this property truly is...from the decorating and landscaping to the vistas of the lake and the mountains.From our first contact with Greg and Belinda we knew that we had made the right decision in choosing Serenity Hill Cabin.Everything was professionally handled from the web site,the reservation process,all of the helpful hints. We also were blessed to renew our wedding vows(12 years of marriage)in such a gorgeous setting in front of the fireplace with lots of pictures taken outside.
