You will find an King Master & a Queen Guest Room, both with full bathrooms & private porches on the upper floor. The lower floor has a fully-equipped kitchen overlooking the dining area & family room & a half bathroom. The family room includes cable TV,DVD, & a sleeper sofa along with everything you need to be comfortable--games, books, puzzles and kids movies. There is also a large deck area off the family room overlooking a beautiful fresh water fishing pond! FISH FROM your BACK PORCH!

Barrier Dunes is a secure, gated community with 2 fantastic pools. One is located directly on the dunes with a beautiful view of the ocean & and white sand beaches!(175 steps--1 min. walk, from the front door!). Barrier Dunes also has lighted tennis courts, fresh water fishing ponds, playground, pet stations & is VERY family friendly & pet friendly! A great place for a romantic beach getaway too!
St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is located right next door, & offers excellent access to the bay as well as 7 miles of undeveloped pristine wilderness area & beach. The clear water bay is one of the cleanest in Florida & provides excellent snorkeling, boating, fishing, crabbing & scalloping.
Although Cape San Blas is quite, peaceful, without the dense highrise condo's of Destin or Panama City, it does not mean that you can't find "the basics" on the Cape. There are 2 outlets on the Cape for groceries and other "beach basics". Coneheads is .2 miles (5 min. walk) from the Barrier Dunes entrance & offers breakfast, lunch & ice cream as well as gift items. We have an entire page dedicated to the great restaurants in the area.
Come & enjoy all that Cape San Blas & the surrounding area have to offer. Whether it's horseback riding ON THE BEACH, snorkeling & scalloping in the bay, fine dining at nearby restaurants, or just relaxing on the #1 rated beach (by Dr. Beach), we are confident that this is the place that you want to come back to year after year.
