 "If you want to get away and relax, this is the place to go. Beautiful, cozy comfortable cabin at a very reasonable price with anything and everything you need. Also, quite and beautiful scenery. Unless you wanted to go site seeing you could just relax and never leave. The Owners are very friendly and courteous.  "Beautiful view and cabin I highly recommend a stay at this cabin. It was a comfort to be able to bring our pets along and they sure had a ball the woods were their favorite. The small town of Murphy is friendly and just the right size to find all kinds of comfortable spots to sit and watch nature. The cabin is full of everything you would ever need just bring your food and your set. When we were there in Oct 04 we spotted four white tail deer grazing along the road side. The weather was beautiful we opened the windows at night and were very comfortable. The mornings we spent out on the back deck to watch the birds and ducks and chickens get ready for the day, the evenings were nice on the deck with the breeze and leaves swaying in the wind I sure could get use to this did not want to come home. "Thank you Linda for sharing your cabin site on the internet. When we found it we knew that it was a place that we would like to spend a week. Your place was exactly like it showed on the internet. We enjoyed our week in the Smoky Mountains Hideaway on Mary King Mountain. It was close to a Walmart where we could get anything we needed. The cabin is beautifully furnished, and the kitchen was a dream come true for cooking meals in. The fenced in yard was great for our little dog. We enjoyed the huge deck with the nice outdoor furniture. If you want to get away for a week of beauty and quiet in the mountains this is the place to go. We are pleased that we found it on the internet. The pictures on the net were exactly what we saw when we arrived. We found a nice walking trail in Murphy in a recreation area along the river. This was great to take the dog for a walk every evening. We highly recommend this cabin for a week or two to relax and enjoy the area. "We've had a wonderful week in the mountains. We went leaf looking mostly and to a couple of beautiful waterfalls. Went up on the Cherohala Skyway on Thursday, the leaves were beautiful up there. Went to Duke's Falls and Helen on Tuesday. Wednesday we went to Amicacola Falls State Park. One of the most gorgeous falls we've been to. Your home was very cozy and comfortable. I love the well stocked kitchen to come home to each night to cook dinner for us. It was warm enough that we didn't build a fire. Lows in the 40's at night and 70's during the day.
